Sea Goddess bracelet...

I've been into charm bracelets lately, and how much fun they are! Seeing as I live in FL I like the cool, frothy sea colors that are around here. My wardrobe is full of sea colors, and also pinks, reds, and oranges. No subtle shades for me! :)

This is a star flying steampunk angel/fairy pendant on an metal oxidized chain. So much fun to make! The watch parts are from a big bag of vintage parts that I have. You'll see more of these in the future.

April's Fool...in January

Call me strange, but I took this picture of a bird's nest on the ground... So, what's strange about that you might ask? Actually, this is a nest I made from Spanish moss and the potato vine seed pods so plagueing Florida (foreign import that suffocates everything green.) You know now how the vine got its name... I have an abundant supply of potato-look-alike seed pods in my yard, and I had to create something with them. The birds ARE starting to nest about now, but I don't think they would approve. Those seed pods are mighty hard!

A great big puffy heart in time for Valentine's Day...

To all my friends and readers, here's a great big puffy heart with xoxos. You inspire me, and I'm grateful that you're out there in the ethers with your various artistic talents. I feast my eyes every day, and sometimes twice a day (when I have the time.) Where would we be without art? In the Big Nowhere, that's where... Please keep producing so that I can continue to feast my eyes. Thank you. :)

Made a steel necklace with tigereye beads and other weird stuff...

Got creative last Sunday and fashioned this necklace out of steel wire and beads. Hard on the fingers, but it was seriously fun. Birds' nests are popular in jewelry these days, and I just learned how to make one. Now, if only I could come up with a truly original idea.... They come when you least expect them. The thick part in the middle is leather wrapped with beads and wire.

This is what Bailey and Tabby were doing on New Year's Eve...

I grabbed my camera to take a picture. I thought I had time as it was about one minute before midnight, but when I went to watch the ball drop, it had dropped already! My clock was about one minute slow.

I did see Bill and Hilary Clinton dancing... It was very noisy there in Times Square. I'm glad I wasn't there.

I've been doing some funky jewelry lately, and will upload pictures in the next entry. Ciao.
